An example of how loud and colourful mobius's work can be. I think his use of composition is very intoresting and i like how detailed his illostrations are. He is also a compertent tequnical artist. He has also had a large effect on how i have used empty space in some of my drawing work this year.

I feel alot of my colabarative project has been a great sucsess over the last term. I feel like i have shard some great ideas and the working atmaspher within my house has been of great help to me. I have rarly worked with other artists before and i feel like the disaplines relotive to this type of work is well worth knowing.

I have been looking at gacometti resently. He is an artist that i have always held an intrest in but resently i have found is work quite relovent to me. I like the rouphness of his work and how confodent it is.

Have taken a solection of photoghaphs useing my models. Haven't yet worked out how to make larger wire models as there strucher is often weakend with the transition.
Have began to wright a short comic strip. not fully convinced on the contence of the story but it should help me consider how to develop a drawring and push the meaning of an imige further.

Have also continued to work with wire mesh verry orcweard at times.
I have been looking at the worl of Katsuhiro Otomo. His film, painting and graphic work. verry interesting how all the mediams he uses seems to hold a consistent tone and style. everything he works with seems to have his inprint.
Week 11. I went on the walker tour on the 7th of October. The notes I previously made have become handy as I would like to revisit some of the works of sculpture that I previously overlooked.

Have also been looking at African art, masks, fertility cymbals and jewellery. This has played a large role within my work and has helped me design a range of illustrations.
Week 10. I have continued to experiment with my camouflaged figures and feel ready to begin moving them on to a larger scale. I will start with Ink drawings on A2 paper and move on from there. My next large pieces will involve masks. I want to maintain a graphic style within these pieces.

I have also taken a tour around the blackie gallery. Good to see community work within Liverpool.
Week 9. I have been considering scale and how larger peaces may affect the space around them. Hopefully scale will course a different effect within my work.
Week 8. I have had an idea for a new set of drawings that I will focus my attention on. The idea is traces of life around us and they show mysterious characters’ camouflaged within there surroundings’. I will have to incorporate these designs in to my model making.
Week 7. I have begun to use sculptor in my work to try and bring my work out of the sketch book. This involves using wire mesh and modelling clay. I need to experiment with more scale in these peaces.
Week 6. I have also following the work of French artist Mobius. I have managed to read three of his comics and have found a great documentary “Mobius Redux”. I have also been shown the varied work of artist blue by my housemate.
Week 5. I have made myself a list of films and documentary’s that I need to follow up. I have also been told there is an interesting set of etchings in the blue coat gallery.
4. Over the next two weeks I intend to follow different exhibitions around Liverpool. I also have been given some helpful recommendations’ by tutors and my housemates alike. I intend to find artists who use narrative within their work as this may relate to the direction I wish to later take.
3. I have started attending life drawing as it is a great way to sharpen your use of space and you’re reaction to an existing form. I have looked at both the male and female form but find the male more applicable with my resent work.
2. I have started looking at the body as I believe by taking a well known form I can embellish it with paten and texture hopefully this will allow me to look at my use of line in a different way.
1. I have picked up where I have left off last year looking at patterns and different ways of filling space using illustration. I have decided to continue using boxes as a way of helping my composition and decision making.
